A Night of Rising Metal

In association with the International Festival Forum, Desertscene London & Old Empire are pleased to be hosting a very special night showcasing some of the most exciting rising bands in the underground.

In conjunction with Catch 22, Doomstar Bookings, Napalm Events & The Link Productions, who will each be presenting a key act from their current roster.

Across two stages at Omeara on Thursday 27th September we’ll be welcoming HELGA (UK) summoning a plethora of layers and genres from black metal to post-rock punctuated by formidable drums, spectral strings and chugging riffs that transcends into emotive dreamscapes and darker sensibilities.

Belgium’s MY DILIGENCE elegantly combines catchy harmonies and compelling riffs, proudly laminating their place as one of the most forward thinking heavy psych bands of the moment, with a skill and ease reminiscent of their transatlantic peers.

NAKKEKNAEKKER has quickly established their name as one of THE MOST hyped bands in the Danish metal scene. Pulling old-school death metal through a modern youth driven filter, the result is an aggressive sonic attack, that honours the old death metal legends as well as modern hardcore.

OUR PROMISE are an explosive German metalcore sextet rising from the ashes of their past. Crafting a blistering twin vocalist assault that blends metalcore, hardcore and pop punk. They have already amassed millions of Spotify streams, performed in front of thousands, and rapidly established a meaningful fanbase.
