The sounds of tomorrow, the people of now. A chance to explore cutting-edge sounds and make new friends, all fuelled by downright excellent beers from Beavertown Brewery.

Our second edition features live sets in Omeara’s arch from Talk Show, Humour, Wynona, plus East London DJ collective Absent Fathers will be spinning heaters till the early hours in the bar! Learn a little more about each of the bands playing below…

Arrive early, stay late. Let’s get together to enjoy some sweet summer frequencies.

DITZ

A ferocious live band, DITZ create forward-thinking noise rock/post-punk which features vast arrays of
pedal effects with influences from 80s and 90s post-hardcore and noise rock.

Their debut album ‘The Great Regression’ was recorded by Ben Hampson (Blood Red Shoes &
Tigercub), mastered by Kate Tavini (We Are Scientists & Nadine Shah) & released on Alcopop!
Records. Their limited-edition Dinked vinyl which sold out in under 24 hours and they gained plaudits
from the likes of Pitchfork, Der Spiegel, Steve Lamacq, DIY and Clash. The standard edition of the
vinyl also sold out and has been repressed.

Live they are a formidable beast, in 2022 they’ve toured with DIIV, played festivals less than 24 hours
after the drummer dislocated his shoulder, jumped into lakes mid-set and blown fans away with their
powerful and pounding onslaught. They’ve toured the UK twice this year and made several excursions
to mainland Europe, as well as playing to thousands of people at festivals such as La Route Du Rock,
Reeperbahn, Great Escape, Truck, 2000 Trees, Krankenhaus and many more.

Grandmas House

Bristol-based, queer punk-trio, made up of Yasmin Berndt (vocals, guitar), Poppy Dodgson(vocals, drums) and Zoë Zinsmeister (bass), are known for their fast and raucous guitar riffs, thumping bass lines and aggressive drums.Combining their love of post-punk with surfy melodies, Grandmas House have created acaptivating sound that grabs you right by the throat. With vocals compared to artists rangingfrom The Raincoats to Motörhead and described musically as a mix between Courtney Barnettand The Slits, the original, fresh sound coming from this band is undeniable.

SUEP

SUEP make oddball car-boot-sale pop songs with a sprinkling of theatrical storytelling. The band is led by Georgie Stott (Porridge Radio, Garden Centre) and Josh Harvey alongside George Nicholls (The GN Band, Joanna Gruesome, The Tubs), William Deacon (PC World, Garden Centre), and Ollie Chapman. Their debut mini-album Shop was released by Memorials of Distinction in 2023.
