Producer, composer, and songwriter Charlie Perry has spent the past decade behind the scenes – boosting careers with projects like Jorja Smith’s breakthrough EP Project 11, collaborations with Olivia Dean, Maverick Sabre, Lola Young, and writing/producing “Singularity” for BTS.
Driven by his early passion for performance, Perry has now stepped into the spotlight as Common Saints. His sound – rich, cinematic, and marked by lush reverb and unconventional structures – draws on a decade of pivotal experiences. As he puts it, “Everything I do has been leading to this sound.”
His debut album, Cinema 3000, encapsulates this vision. A record as vast and ambitious as its title suggests, Cinema 3000 encapsulates the hallmarks of Perry’s solo project—warm, luscious musicality, filmic sensibilities, and a grounded sense of spirituality and hope. Across 14 tracks, Perry cements himself not just as a behind-the-scenes producer but a true artist in his own right.
