Fanny Lumsden
ARIA & 8x Golden Guitar winning artist Fanny Lumsden ‘has established herself as one of the one of the genre’s most esteemed performers’ (The Australian) off the back of her breakthrough album Fallow which took out the ARIA and AIR Country Album of the year, 5x CMAA Golden Guitars including Album of the year, Single & Female Artist of the year, made the prestigious AMP shortlist, and was an APRA Award finalist for top 5 most played Country song for ‘DIG’ in 2021. She Fanny recently released a new version of the record called Fallow & Variations and a song stories series called Deep in the Fallow. Perpetually touring, Fanny has recently been on the road with Paul Kelly and Kasey Chambers. The last few years did not slow Fanny down releasing fallow which debuted in the ARIA top 10, appeared on Play School, Rockwiz, ABC’s The Set with You Am I, took part in Global Music Match, became a Support Act Advocate, a Volunteer firefighter, wrote and produced a documentary telling the story of Fallow through the summer of bushfires and recording her album in a stone hut. Fanny was also named 2021 Albury Local Woman of the Year for the Hume Shire for her work with regional communities. Along with her husband Dan Stanley Freeman she runs her own Record Label & Production company – Red Dirt Road & own hugely successful touring brand – The Country Halls Tour which has sold out over 200+ halls all over Australia and is in its 11th year. No small feat for a self-managed artist.
